You may use this site to learn about our services and to contact us about a project. You may not:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage or disable it
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system
• Submit false information, another person's details, or anything abusive, misleading or unlawful through the contact form
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy the site's content
• Reproduce or republish any part of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission

We may withdraw or suspend access to the site at any time, and we are not liable if it is unavailable for any period.

The descriptions, images and service information on this site are provided to help you understand what we do. They are general in nature, they do not describe any particular installation, and they do not constitute an offer, a quotation or professional advice.

Product images and equipment shown on this site illustrate the categories of system we install. They do not mean any specific product is in stock, currently offered, or suitable for your property.

Submitting the form on this site is a request for us to get in touch. It does not create a contract, it does not reserve a date, and it does not oblige either of us to proceed.

Any figure we discuss before a site visit is an indication only. A binding price comes from a written proposal issued after we have assessed the property. Where a written proposal or agreement conflicts with anything on this website, the written proposal or agreement governs.

This matters more than anything else on this page, so we will be direct about it. No security, camera, alarm or automation system prevents crime, eliminates risk, or guarantees that a loss will not occur. What these systems do is reduce risk and improve the chance of detecting, recording and responding to an event.

Their performance also depends on conditions outside our control, including:

• Mains power and battery backup remaining available
• Internet, cellular and network service remaining available
• Manufacturer platforms, apps and cloud services continuing to operate
• Third-party monitoring or response services doing what they have agreed to do
• The system being used, armed, maintained and updated as we set it up and instructed

We are not an insurer. Nothing we install is a substitute for adequate insurance on your property or its contents, and you should not treat it as one.

Where a system is monitored by a third party, that service is provided under that provider's own agreement with you, and their terms govern their response.

Equipment we supply carries the manufacturer's own warranty, and claims on it are subject to that manufacturer's terms, exclusions and periods. Our own workmanship is covered as described in the written proposal or agreement for your project.

Manufacturers may change, restrict or discontinue their apps, cloud services and firmware over time. Those decisions are not ours to make, and they are not a defect in the work we carried out.

The content of this site, including its text, layout, design, photographs and the Connex Communications name and logo, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own use in considering our services. You may not otherwise copy, adapt, distribute or publish any part of it without our written consent.

Third-party product names and marks that appear on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the equipment we work with.

This site links to sites we do not operate, including Annex Monitoring and WhatsApp. Those links are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse everything on them, and we are not responsible for their content, their products or their terms.

The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free, free of harmful components, or that the information on it is complete or current at any given moment. To the fullest extent the law permits, we exclude all implied warranties in relation to the website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connex Communications Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of your use of this website, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, even if we were told such loss was possible.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Liability arising from work we carry out is dealt with in the written agreement for that work, not here.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your misuse of this website or your breach of these terms.

What we do with the information you send us is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
